The first full shots of the Enterprise from the new movie.
From here.
I can't let people think that Heels is the closest thing to a Trekkie in this bunch.

When working in a medium sized office setting, you tend to share links with your co-workers, and then forget to show your other friends. This is a demonstration of what a recent study claims we spend 25% of our office time doing (while maintaining or even increasing productivity). Our managers, on the other hand, would call them "distractions".

I seriously doubt that anyone is THAT delusional!
We're called Trekkers!
Ahem, in the moive Trekkies 2 "a Star Trek fan recounts a supposed incident during a Star Trek convention where Gene Roddenberry used the term 'trekkies' to describe fans of the show, only to be corrected by a fan that stood up and yelled 'Trekkers!' Gene Roddenberry allegedly responded with 'No, it's "Trekkies." I should know — I invented the thing.'"
To me, "Trekkies" enjoy the show(s) very much, but don't think of it as their whole life or perfection or the second coming of Christ. Trekkers tend to take the show too seriously and felt insulted when they saw Galaxy Quest, claiming it was all about making fun of them.
You, sir, may be a "Trekker," but I am happy being a "Trekkie."
There's a Trekkies 2!?
Galaxy Quest was making fun of them, and it was awesome.
Yes, there is a part two.
And Galaxy Quest was making fun of them, but not in a malicious way.
right. :)
