Like Braile on the Internet?

There is something both wonderful and absurd about the fact that this exists. I haven't listened to any, but I've heard that they are not exactly... uh... sexy, shall we say? Now I'm fully distracted by speculating whether this is a service that is actually interesting to blind people or if there is some other subset of humans for whom this is titillating.

Immigrant Gods Sing

Like a BOSS

NOT SAFE FOR WORK!

Potentially accurate, though I've never seen a real boss send his own faxes.

(Thanks to The Caffeinatrix!)

I found a fail!

I submitted it to failblog.

Short, Short, Short Story Contest

NPR is holding a contest, which ends this week. (I just learned about it.)
This summer, we're beginning a contest called "Three-Minute Fiction." The premise is simple: Listeners send in original short stories that can be read in three minutes or less — that's usually about 500-600 words long.

The winner gets interviewed on Weekend All Things Considered, gets to have his or her story read on air, and gets a book.

Here's where you'll find the rules.

I submitted one and hope to get another in.

How about you?

The Powerpuff Girls - The Mayor as the Big Lebowski

This is so very good. That is all.

GROW UP, Already!

Oh, Morgan Freeman- that's just... gross. And sad.

Not sure I can ever look at him the same way again...
